Police found a suspected cannabis factory in the garage of a Buckshaw Village property.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) raided the home in Aycliffe Drive at 11am on Saturday and made the find during a search of the property.

They were assisted by officers from Chorley Police and in total six suspected cannabis plants were seized.

A 36-year-old woman who was in the house at the time of the raid was arrested and will be questioned by Lancashire Police officers at a later date.

A male was already being held by GMP.
