Cheesecake thief also stole £2,000 of bikes

A Leyland man has been handed a 12-week prison sentence after admitting stealing four bicycles around Leyland and Lostock Hall, worth £2,380 in total.

Lee Patrick Gorman, 28, from Woodlands Drive, also pleaded guilty to stealing meat, coffee, a milkshake, a cheesecake, Allen keys, and four sets of bicycle lights.

Those items were worth around £240 in total.

He attended a hearing at Preston Magistrates’ Court and was given the sentence, suspended for 12 months.
