Paul Garlick, 18, of Wigan Road, Euxton, was fined £480 by Chorley magistrates for driving without due care and attention.
He was also charged with driving without a valid licence and insurance. He had to pay £48 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His driving record was endorsed with seven points, The offence happened in Friday Street, Chorley, on June 22.
Darren Neil Murphy, 31, of Hollinshead Street, Chorley, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court charged with stealing a bottle of Jack Daniel’s Whiskey from Asda in Chorley. He was ordered to pay £24.50 compensation. The offence happened on September 12.
Ashley Bayes, 22, of Fern Bank, Chorley, was fined £300 by Preston magistrates for failing to change his address under the notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £35 victim surcharge. The offence happened on August 28.
Hannah Louise Whittle, 24, of Riversedge Road, Leyland, was given a community order with a curfew requirement by Preston magistrates for failing to notify South Ribble Council of a change of circumstance which would affect her entitlement to housing benefit. She was also charged with failing to notify Department for Work and Pensions of a change of circumstance which would affect her entitlement to income support. She also had to pay £85 court costs to Preston Magistrates’ Court. The charges date from between November 23 2015 and April 5 2016.
Robert Jackson, 31, of Leyland Lane, Leyland, was fined £80 by Preston magistrates for being drunk and disorderly in public. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. The offence happened in Towngate, Leyland, on November 13.
