Burglars broke into Runshaw College and stole a haul of computers.

Four people spent 20 minutes walking around the college’s site on Euxton Lane in Chorley at around 9.25pm on Monday.

They then used a large fence post or something similar to prise open metal bars on a window at the rear of the premises and get inside.

They stole 17 desktop computers, passing them to someone waiting outside.

The computers were put into a vehicle which was driven away.

Police have launched an investigation into the burglary but no arrests have yet been made.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
