Flooding has affected several major roads in and around Preston this evening.
Flooding on the M6 has caused two lanes to be closed.
One, the M6 slip road to Charnock Richard services being closed northbound between junction 27 (Standish) and junction 28 (Leyland) and the other on the M6 southbound between junction 31a B6242 Longridge, and junction 31 A59 Samlesbury.
Black Bull Lane is closed in both directions and Preston Police are in attendance. Miller Road, Blackpool Road, Woodplumpton Lane, Aqueduct Street in Preston, School Lane, Bamber Bridge and Cromwell Lane, Ribbleton, are all partially flooded as well and although none are entirely closed, Lancashire Fire service has urged drivers to take extra care on the roads.
It is unknown when the M6 lanes will reopen as traffic continues to move slowly.
