Hunt for takeaway street brawl gang

Police in Bamber Bridge are appealing for information following a street brawl that left one man with a broken arm and teeth.

On Sunday, May 9, at approximately 1am, an argument broke out between two groups of two men in a fast food takeaway on Station Road.

The argument became physical and spilled out into the street. During the altercation, one of suspects left the scene and returned with several other men who joined in the brawl.

Now, police are hunting two people they believe are responsible for this assault. Both men are described as being of a medium build, approximately 5ft 7ins, clean shaven with dark hair. One was wearing a white and grey vertical striped shirt and the other wore a plain grey hooded tracksuit.

PC Lisa Gibbons, investigating the assault, said: “This was a vicious and sustained attack and we are very keen to trace the people responsible.”
