More than 70 horse riders took part in an annual fund-raising trek around Leyland on Sunday, and were blessed with beautiful weather.

Chairman of the group Sue Taylor-Green said: “The onesies were really comfortable to ride in, so I expect some of our members will be wearing them again in the winter!

“We started at Longton Riding Club in Ulnes Walton and went through Moss Side, Midge Hall, Much Hoole and Bretherton.”

Around £1,000 was collected, which will be used to extend the multi-use track developed by the association at Malt Kiln Fold in Leyland.
