Emergency services are on the scene in the Lake District after reports of a diver who had failed to resurface.

A spokesman for NWAS said: "We got called at 11:49am this morning. A diver has been pulled from the water and he is unconscious."

They added that an air ambulance is on the scene where he is still being treated.
