Home-builder Taylor Wimpey is reporting that thanks to excellent customer service, a number its current customers are taking advantage of the Part Exchange scheme to upsize into new Taylor Wimpey homes in Chorley.
Nicola Smerdon and husband Chris have utilised the scheme to swap their old Taylor Wimpey home for a fabulous four bedroomed Thornford home at Rowan Manor in Clayton-le-Woods.
Nicola said: “We’ve actually bought off-plan and aren’t due to move until September.
“But we have bought with Taylor Wimpey before and didn’t hesitate to sign on the dotted line again.
“We love our previous home on The Oaks development, but it was becoming obvious that we needed that little bit more room.”
Nicola and Chris turned to Part Exchange after trying to sell their house themselves for several months without success.
Part Exchange is an alternative to selling for existing home-owners; as Taylor Wimpey can become your guaranteed cash buyer at market value in exchange for a new-build home.
The developer also covers the estate agency fees.
David Hnyda, regional sales manager for Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “Families who are upsizing can often have problems selling their home.
“So we’re absolutely delighted that the Smerdon’s have found our Part Exchange service has worked again for them.”
Nicola added: “I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Part Exchanging with Taylor Wimpey as it’s been so easy. The buying process was stress-free and is allowing us to concentrate on getting ready for our new home instead of selling our old one.”
