Police raided a house in Buckshaw Village after receiving allegations that is was being used as a brothel.

The property, on Cornwall Avenue, was raided by police on Friday afternoon at around 4.15pm, who found three women inside.

Police say the address had been linked to internet site ‘Massage Preston’, which advertised the services of one woman called Vivienne carrying out a ‘professional and sensuous escort service’.

It says the service is ‘extremely discreet with plenty of off-road parking’ in a ‘luxury, private apartment with full shower facilities’.The police raid found three women aged 36, 45 and 53, who were all arrested on suspicion of keeping a brothel and bailed to a future date while police make further enquiries.

Ch Insp Richard Robertshaw said: “I am grateful for concerns by residents being brought to the attention of police and would encourage anyone with concerns to get in touch with their policing team.”
