Firefighters helped two men to safety after a blaze at a derelict social club in Leyland.
The two men were in the British Legion Club, School Lane, when the fire broke out.
One was able to walk out of the building and the other was assisted by firefighters.
Both were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
Police, two fire engines and an ambulance were at the scene at around 6.30pm.
The cause is under investigation. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus put the fire out using two hosereel jets.
