Two men have been jailed for a brawl at the Broadfield Arms.
Johnathon Fitzsimons, 21, of Westfield Drive, Leyland and Benjamin Hoque, 22, of Broadgreen Court, Leyland were arrested after the incident in Leyland Lane.
Police were called to reports at around 10.55pm on Wednesday, that a man had been hit with a glass after it rebounded off a woman, and another man had been hit on the ear with a walking stick.
Fitzsimons pleaded guilty to a public order offence, assault and criminal damage when he appeared at Chorley Magistrates’ Court on Friday. He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison.
Hoque also pleaded guilty to a public order offence, assault and criminal damage and was handed 28 weeks in prison. He was also given a 12-week suspended sentence for two further assaults dating back to September 2011.
