Organisers have hailed the huge success of Leyland Live, which rocked the town at the weekend.
Hundreds of revellers filled almost 20 venues taking part in the evening entertainment extravaganza on Friday and Saturday.
Everywhere from pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, community centres and even churches got involved with the annual event, which saw around 50 acts take to the stag-es performing everything from rock to gospel.
Organiser Nigel Stewart said: “It’s very exciting that we’re a few years into these Live events, and more talent is coming forward all the time.
“We keep getting new acts through, which is fantastic, we love that, and what makes it really special is when you get young people who you just know will be a staple at Live events for years to come.
“But we also really appreciate the loyalty of the artists who have performed at every single Live event.
“They’re so faithful, as are the volunteers who run the venues on the nights.
“We’ve had more than 150 people volunteer for us at Live events now.
“We’re in to the double figures with how many we have done now, with Chorley, Penwortham and Longton, as well as Leyland, where it all started in 2012.
“Everything just runs like clockwork.”
