Witness plea after jogger shot with BB gun

The victim was jogging on Dunkirk Lane, between 5pm and 5.30pm on Sunday, August 28 when he felt a sharp pain in his back.

Police believe he may have been hit by a pellet from a BB gun. He was left with bruising.

A spokesman for Leyland Police said: “The jogger says he did not notice anyone close to him at the time of the incident, but he did see a silver hatchback drive past him, with the rear window down.
