Bamber Bridge chief Neil Crowe is calling for consistency ahead of tonight’s,Tuesday, Evo Stik League First Division North fixture against Witton Albion.

Last time out in the league, Brig put in a poor performance to draw 1-1 with Radcliffe Borough.

But Crowe’s men bounced straight back to dump Skelmersdale United out of the FA Cup and seal a third qualifying round trip to Kettering Town.

Currently Brig lie 13th in the table, three places behind Witton.

Tonight’s fixture kicks-off a hectic 12 days for Brig.

On Saturday, they travel to Burscough in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy.

Brig then host New Mills in the Doodson Cup next Tuesday before making the journey to Kettering Town in the FA Cup.

Ahead of a bumper few fixtures, Crowe wants consistency from his side.

“There’s a real buzz around the club, we’ve got four huge games coming up,” he said.

“We need to be putting a run together now, our performances have been up and down and we need to be more

“I don’t know a lot about Witton Albion but we need to concentrate on ourselves.

“I’m delighted with the FA Cup draw, it should be a good set up at Kettering as they used to be in the Conference.

“We’ll be going there full of confidence and we fancy our chances.”

Crowe praised full back Dave Hankin for his

performance against Skem and striker Regan Linney

also drew the plaudits.

“Dave did well coming back from injury, he looked so composed,” Crowe added.

“Regan did very well, he’s setting his own standards and he needs to stick to them.”
