Bamber Bridge kept their play-off hopes alive with a battling victory away at Harrogate Railway Athletic.
An early goal from Alex Taylor set Brig on their way before Alex Metcalfe drew the sides level eight minutes before half-time.
But a goal from Greg Johnstone three minutes into the second half was enough to help seal Brig a vital victory.
In howling winds, Brig started the stronger with Ally Waddecar and Johnstone both having early efforts.
Lee Dovey was called into action after 20 minutes, the goalkeeper palming away a Nathan Cartman shot.
Cartman was involved in the action minutes later but his shot in the penalty area just looped over the crossbar.
Brig took the lead when Waddecar sent a pinpoint cross into the penalty area and on hand was Taylor to bag his second Brig goal of his career.
It could have been two soon after but Waddecar’s strike thundered off the bar .
Then against the run of play, Harrogate equalised when Cartman crossed for Metcalfe, who comfortably finished past Dovey.
Soon after the restart, Brig regained the lead.
Johnstone pounced on a loose ball, took on two defenders and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the net.
The rest of the second half past without trouble for Brig, the howling winds dictating the majority of the play.
The victory leaves Brig just three points outside the play-off places.
