Bamber Bridge sit in the Evo-Stik League Division One North play-off zone after a comfortable 3-1 victory over Salford City on Saturday.
Goals from Andy Bell, Paul Alexander and Lennie Reid sealed the win for Brig who gained revenge after defeat to Salford two weeks ago.
The away side had a chance early on in the game but on loan Preston North End goalkeeper Steve James produced a smart save diving to his left.
And in the 14th minute, Salford took a deserved lead through Mark Battersby.
Aaron Walters pounced upon Jamie Hastings and Walters squared to Battersby who fired home past James.
Salford had plenty of chances but James was in inspired form between the Bamber Bridge goals.
But Brig hit back on the stroke of half-time as Curtis Thomson sent Ali Waddecar clear who squared to Bell who brought the sides level.
Waddecar had a chance to make it 2-1 but his effort was well saved by goalkeeper Andrew Mills.
Brig started the better of the sides in the second half and in the 67th minute were awarded a free-kick.
Alexander stepped over and swung the ball in and with the help of a deflection the ball rolled in the back of the net.
Tom Williams set up Lennie Reid to make it 3-1 with the latter excellently finishing from outside the penalty area.
Waddecar, Williams and Mark Buchan all had chances to extend the lead.
That never came but Brig deservedly gained all three points as they underlined their growing confidence.
