Another production by the world famous Bolshoi Ballet will be beamed into Lancaster’s Dukes cinema on Sunday.
Le Corsaire is a ballet in three acts loosely based on the long poem by Lord Byron.
A swashbuckling romantic tale of the rescue of a beautiful slave from her tyrannical master by a handsome pirate, it features some of ballet’s most famous sequences.
The first cinema screening of a Royal Shakespeare Company production at The Dukes next Wednesday has proved so popular it has sold out.
But fans of the Bard – and David Tennant – have another chance to see Richard II broadcast from Stratford-upon-Avon on December 1 – though tickets for this screening are selling fast too.
