Blue Soul are blues-influenced but bring to the table a funky, soul, soft /rock mix that got the audience into the groove very early on.
Adrian Gautrey on lead vocals and lead guitar led this truly international band – Adrian met these very gifted musicians in Switzerland – through a sensational set. The band’s performance showcased the abilities of these gifted, seasoned musicians.
Tom Ansink on organ/ keys and bass, is a musician with magic in his fingers; David Hogan on saxophone travelled from Italy, to play his saxophone, interweaving with Adrian’s guitar and out of this world; Ben Gonzalez has a brilliant ear and relaxed style – just fantastic; guest vocalist Sinead Savage has everything, a voice to die for, a range that would crack icebergs, and commanding stage presence.
Each individually would grace any stage with any top artist. As a band the sky’s the limit for as long as they wish to perform together. The covers they performed to give you a flavour were, I’m Tore Down, Ride Your Pony, Every Day I Have The Blues, The Letter, Rock Me Baby, but there were many more. Blue Soul – this band are red hot.
