The spirit of Celtic rock icon Philip Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy will be well and truly alive when tribute act Limehouse Lizzy takes to the stage at the Platform in Morecambe on January 23.
Limehouse Lizzy are renowned for an action packed show and have dominated stages worldwide.
Attention to detail, playful audience interaction and that all important X-factor that leaves you with the feeling of witnessing the real thing have led to their performance being described as “beyond tribute”, by both audience and critics alike.
The band have also added a tribute into their show to ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist (and world renowned solo artist) Gary Moore.
For January’s show frontman duties will be taken by Paul ‘Fasker’ Johnson, a vastly experienced vocalist and bass guitarist.
His musical CV is lengthy but some of the more notable highlights are tours, performances and recordings with Saxon, John Parr, Paul Carrack and even a stint with Ozzy Osbourne.
Limehouse Lizzy will take to the stage at the Platform at 8pm.
Tickets cost £14 in advance or £16 on the door on the night, available from the box office at www.lancaster.gov.uk/platform or by telephoning on 01524 582803.
