Top comedians Mike Newall and Greg Cook top the bill at Preston’s Frog and Bucket Comedy Club this weekend.
Manchester based comic Newall, who supported TV comedian Alun Cochrane on his recent Moments of Alun tour, takes the stage tomorrow night at the Lords Walk comedy club’s flagship Barrel of Laughs while master of the deadpan Cook, dubbed by the BBC’s head of comedy John Plowman as “Les Dawson for the 21st century” arrives to take over the top spot on Saturday.
Compere Mike Wilkinson introduces the acts, which also include Kelly Kingham and Bennett Arron, who will perform on both nights.
And, after the laughter has died away, the audience can dance until late as one of the Frog’s resident DJs will be spinning tunes until the early hours.
Doors open at 7pm on both Friday and Saturday and admission is £10 for seated tickets or £7 for standing.
